Mr. Zvi Joseph, Chairman of the Board

Mr. Joseph is the co-founder of Intec, and also Vice Chairman and Board Member of Incote Investments Ltd., a leading Israeli Investment group active in the finance and healthcare industries. Previously, Mr. Joseph served as Head of Marketing of Adgar Ltd., whose shares are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Mr. Joseph is an experienced investment professional with diverse contacts within the Israeli and European financial circles. Mr. Joseph studied at the European Business School - Regent's College in London and at Mercy College in New York where he received a B.A. in Business Administration.

   
Mr. Giora Carni, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Carni has over 34 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry throughout Israel and North America . Mr. Carni has held various executive positions in the "Agis Group", a leading Israeli pharmaceutical group, and served as a senior consultant to the pharmaceutical industry in Israel and Europe . An industrial engineer by training, Mr. Carni holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technion in Haifa , Israel.

 
   
Mr. Zeev Weiss , Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations

Mr. Weiss has over 10 years of experience in healthcare corporate development, strategic planning and corporate finance. Prior to joining Intec Pharma, he served as Head of Life Sciences Strategic Consulting with PwC Israel , leading numerous business development and corporate strategy projects for many biopharmaceutical and medical device companies, throughout the Israeli industry. Mr. Weiss is a CPA, and has completed BSc studies in Biology, MSc studies in Neuro-Biochemistry, and BA studies in accounting, all from Tel Aviv University.

   
Ms. Hadas Friedman, Vice president QA / Clinical & Regulatory Affairs

Mrs. Hadas Friedman, certified by both the American and Israeli Quality societies as a Quality Manager, has served as a Quality Manager for Procognia Ltd., a biotech company specializing in micro-array technologies for glycoanalysis. Prior to that, she served as an associate in the quality department in Rafa Laboratories, Jerusalem , in sterile production. She has additional training and certification as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and as a clinical trials auditor. She holds an M.Sc. in molecular biology and B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Bar-Ilan University , Ramat-Gan , Israel.
